Our team is here to serve, support, and walk with you as you grow in faith. We care about building genuine relationships and creating a church where people feel seen, valued, and at home. Take a moment to meet the people who help lead and serve our community.

Pastor Mike was born in New York to Puerto Rican-Venezuelan parents, but the DMV has been home for most of his adult life—and JCC has been his church home since 2002. He began following Christ when he was 14, and became active in ministry during his years at American University. After college, he continued his Biblical studies at Global University, and his graduate work at Regent University. He has enjoyed ministering in this intergenerational, international, Spirit-filled body of believers.
He and his wife Sonja have been married since 1991, building a life centered on faith and family. Sonja brings her own gifts to the Kingdom as a high school English teacher, passionate about sharing God's love, truth, and transformative power with the next generation. Together, they've raised two daughters who have now started families of their own, blessing Mike and Sonja with two sons-in-law and five grandchildren who keep life full and joyful.
Whether they're worshiping together as a family, tending their garden, playing sports outdoors, or gathering around the table with friends, the thread that runs through it all is the same: connection—with God, with each other, and with the community He's placed them in.

Jeff and Amanda have been married since 2005, and in love for even longer (ask them about their first date). After moving from Arizona to Virginia in 2007, their family grew from two to six, and their greatest joys are now outgrowing them in the form of Lucy, Ephraim, Justus, and Clark.
Pastor Jeff leads with a conviction that life in Christ is formed through deep connection with God, and shaped in spirit-filled community through everyday people who are willing to say yes. A lifelong worshiper, creator, and musician, he believes people are most alive when their lives fully embody God’s unique design for them—not when they’re trying to fit someone else’s mold. He is passionate about empowering servant-hearted believers to lead with excellence, confidence, and joy.

Jim, who is a native Washingtonian, and wife Laura have been married for 38 years. They actually met in a College and Career Sunday School class. God has blessed them with three daughters, Joanna, Julia, and Lydia, one son Luke, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law and one adorable granddaughter, Talia.
Jim has a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Regent University. He is typically immersed in several books at a time as well as studying the Word with a notebook in hand. Possessing a passion for missions, Jim has a heart to put forth a Biblical worldview which is the basis of true human flourishing. Presently, his focus is on assimilating new folks into our fellowship, men’s ministries, and missions.
Jim and Laura equally enjoy assisting believers in discovering their giftings and instilling vision into their lives of all that the Lord can accomplish in and through them.

Jean and Brianna have been a part of JCC since 2021. They are Philadelphia natives and met at their church youth group as teenagers playing on the worship team. Their love for Jesus, worship, music, and each other is what brought them together, and continues to be what they love to this day. They were married in 2019 and welcomed their daughter, Micaela, in 2025. They are passionate about their family and friends, discipleship, living out a life of faith, good food, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Brianna felt God’s call to lead worship as a young student, beginning with falling in love with the presence of God through music, and then watching others do the same. She desires to see the Body of Christ worship God in Spirit and Truth, convicted that worship is a lifestyle lived out of response to who God is and what He has done for us. She values ministering out of a place of relationship, with God and others, and loves getting to be a part of discipling young adults and college students with Chi Alpha at George Mason.
Jean has loved the Lord from a young age, and has sought to know Him and His character better through His Word since he can remember. Jean loves to teach GMU students and young adults who the Lord is, and what He wants His people to live like. He loves worship and being a part of the worship team; playing guitar, music directing, and helping Brianna out however he can. He values discipleship and fostering community for young adults and college students within in the church.

Chad and Heather have been married since 2012 and have felt a bivocational calling ever since, serving both in Children’s Ministry and in their respective professions of technology and family therapy. They are blessed with two wonderful children, Andrew and Lily, who love sports, a good bubble tea run, and lighting up JCC Kidz every week.
Their greatest joy is watching children discover who God created them to be: gifted, valued, and full of purpose. The Singletons have a “come as you are” philosophy and believe kids don’t need to have it all figured out to experience God’s love; they just need someone to love them to life and help them say “yes” to what Jesus is already doing in their hearts.

Thomas is a Marine Veteran who has an appreciation for his country and a deep love for Jesus and his family. Thomas felt God calling him to youth ministry while he and Crystal were completing a Spiritual Warfare Sunday school class at JCC in 2013. About that time, Thomas started volunteering with the youth group as a youth leader and he has been doing it ever since. He has a passion for young people and is invested in their spiritual growth. Thomas has also been serving in the preschool ministry at JCC since 2012.
Thomas and Crystal have been married 24 years and have been blessed with two amazing daughters, Kalini and Leikea, who are also passionate about serving the Lord. Crystal has been serving in Girls Ministries as the Stars leader for 11 years, and she loves all her students. Together, the family enjoys board games, funny movies and doing most anything that makes them laugh. #COMMANDERS

Pastor Bill and Mary have enjoyed pastoring the wonderful people of JCC of all ages and from all nations. With God’s help, Pastor Bill guided JCC since 1989. Beginning January 2026, Pastor Bill felt the call to transition from the Lead Pastor role to a new capacity while continuing to serve as members and stewards of Jubilee. Pastor Bill also offers pastoral care and support as a presbyter in our Potomac Ministry Network Washington Region.
The Frasnelli's enjoy spending time with their three children and five grandchildren. On any given day, they can be found loving people to life through practical means like visitations, as well as in jovial and prayerful conversations and stepping into spaces of need. They find fulfillment in honoring God and in honoring people!

Jay committed his life to Christ as a preteen while attending church in his hometown of Los Angeles, California. He has been an active part of JCC for nearly two decades as an elected member of the deacon board and serving as board secretary.
Jay is a lifelong educator and enjoys using the skills he developed in that field to help the ministries at JCC blossom, flourish, and continue to bless the church community.
When not working, Jay enjoys reading, traveling, and cheering on his hometown Dodgers, Lakers, and UCLA Bruins.

Lynn has felt at home at Jubilee since the very first Sunday she and her family walked through the doors of JCC on Easter morning in 2001. From that day forward, she sensed more than a warm welcome—she recognized a place where God was planting her for purpose and soon grew into a clear calling to serve. By 2004, Lynn stepped into ministry alongside the worship and office staff.
Today, Lynn focuses on administrative operations and coordinating events at JCC, but her vision reaches beyond schedules and logistics. She sees administration as ministry—creating order so that others can encounter God without distraction, building systems that support the pastors and staff, and helping every gathering become a space where lives can be changed. For Lynn, serving the pastors, staff, and church family is not just responsibility; it is one of the deepest joys of her life.
Lynn has been married to Kerry since 1987, and together they have built a life centered on faith, family, and service. They are blessed with three children—Cameron (Jules), Kelsey (Richard), and Jordan (Autumn)—and three treasured grandchildren: Hayes, June, and Noah (so far!). Kerry faithfully walks alongside Lynn in ministry, serving in the sound and video departments and stepping in wherever there is need. Their partnership is a shared commitment to building up the body of Christ together.
Outside of her church responsibilities, Lynn treasures time with her family, reading, music, prayer walks, and quiet moments with Jesus. Her life verse, 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 (ESV), is heartbeat of her calling: “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
George and Marilyn Levar have been members of Jubilee since 1986. George has served as Treasurer since 1992 and was a Board Member for 9 years. George is also a Board Member and Treasurer of Alive Global Ministries for the last 30 years and currently serves as Treasurer at The Jerusalem Connection International.
Marilyn has worked in the church office since 1987. She has been on many missions' trips to include the Soviet Union, China, Ecuador, Micronesia and Israel.
They both went to school together from the 4th grade and met again after graduation. They were married in 1968 and have 3 married daughters and 7 grandchildren. They enjoy serving and will continue to do so as long as the Lord leads.

AJ and Sara bonded on their first date watching raccoons and birds dumpster dive. A year later, in 2017, these two love birds dove into marriage. By God's grace, in 2022, their flock grew with Josiah, then Matthew in 2024. AJ is an internal auditor, and Sara is a former teacher and full-time mama to their boys. Since birth, they served as deacon-kid and pastor's-kid, and they grew into serving in other ministries, including the worship and sound teams.
AJ and Sara are excited how their abilities of detail and creativity will honor God and bring others to Him through these roles! When they're not behind screens, the Briggs are outdoors where their two little birds can be free and get messy. A coffee is in hands (or on the floor) and music playing or singing. Their greatest joy is knowing Jesus and making Him known!

Teresa has attended Jubilee for over 15 years; the in-depth teaching of the Word and the spirit-filled worship she experienced upon first visiting Jubilee has kept her here.
Teresa has lived in Virginia since 1974; she has one young adult son (and one senior dog). Teresa enjoys exercising, practicing keyboard, reading, humor, music, writing, and hanging out with family and friends. She loves reading the Bible and going deep in the study of God’s Word.
Prior to working at Jubilee Christian Center, Teresa worked for Fairfax County Government for many years in various administrative positions.
Teresa is in constant awe of our Heavenly Father’s love, grace, faithfulness and goodness and is so grateful to Jesus Christ for taking our sins upon Himself and by so doing setting us free from the bondage of sin and making a way for us to have fellowship with the Father!
