This summer, the ladies have been taking it easy and teaching each other fun things like embossing, calligraphy, scrapbooking and cooking! We welcome any newcomers to join us and learn more about the awesome talents God has provided us with. Upcoming in August, we will be reading The Five Love Languages. We'll be ordering the books soon, so please email yp@jccag.org if you are interested in participating!

Sunday School class

The Young Professionals Sunday school class will be starting tomorrow at 10:10AM preceding the 11:00AM service. The class is being taught by Paul and Rae Ann Palozzi and will focus on very practical issues that young people in our area are facing. Some of the topics will be on finances, buying a house, paying off student loans and relationships, searching for a significant other and dealing with bosses and coworker, and is focused on how we can approach these areas in our life with a Biblical foundation. Hope you can join us for this class every Sunday!

This Friday we will be having a dinner and devotional which doesn't require you to do or bring anything! Just come out and enjoy some food and then hear a short story from one of our ministry members about what God's doing in their life. Email yp@jccag.org for more info.

Baltimore Trip 2008

A few of us went up to Baltimore on Saturday to see the Body Worlds Exhibit, sightsee and eat some crabcakes. It was a blast, though humid. The exhibit was amazing and it was so interesting to see the intricacies of the body that God has created for us. We have quite a few nurses in YP, so I'm sure they are just as amazed with the way the body heals, grows and functions.

In July, we have a bunch more exciting events, please come join us!

June Events

We've decided to change things up for June, so we will not be having a Dinner & Devotional this month. Instead we're planning a day trip up to Baltimore on Saturday June 28th. We're going to load into the church van and drive up to the Inner Harbor to see the Body World exhibit at the Maryland Science Center. We'll also be walking around the Harbor and having lunch (maybe crab cakes?) there. More details will follow, but don't plan anything for the 28th.

We'll continue having Men's and Women's Breakout Groups at the Bussert's every Monday night at 7:30. There's also some sporting activities going on each week in the area, there's pickup Basketball on Wednesday's at JCC and Frisbee Golf/Ultimate at Burke Lake Park. Check the schedule to see when they're going on.

The ladies have been meeting weekly for about a year now, but we always welcome and love to see new faces! We've been studying through some verses about "Who I am in Christ". You can read them here. In June, we will be moving on to bigger and better things, so please join us if you want to get deeper with God and with other ladies on the same journey as you.
